Kelp benefits
Share
Kelp is a nutrient-dense seaweed that provides abundant iodine for balancing of thyroid hormones that regulate metabolism and energy levels, calcium, magnesium, iron, folate, pantothenic acid, vitamin K1 and vitamin A.
It can be used in tablet form or as “Kelp Salt” sprinkled like salt on food.
Kelp is still widely used to treat iodine deficiency and support thyroid function, metabolism, and energy regulation. It contains fucoxanthin, a compound shown to aid in fat reduction and improve metabolic health. It’s also rich in alginate, a natural fibre that reduces fat absorption and helps control blood sugar levels.
Kelp also provides anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and bone-strengthening benefits.
Traditionally, kelp has been used medicinally for thyroid function regulation and health, metabolism regulation, weight loss, boosting energy levels, diabetes, bone density improvement, dental health, anaemia, cancer prevention, especially colon and breast cancers, nutritional support, blood pressure regulation, lowering of high cholesterol, cardiovascular support, brain health, muscle health, cellular repair and much more.
Another awesome herb to add to any “eat yourself well” plan.
It’s not meant to be complicated to be well, nor is it meant to be expensive.
