Loyalty Points Programme

Our Loyalty Rewards Programme is our way of saying thank you to our retail customers for being part of The Herbalist community. Please read the following information carefully so you understand how points are earned, viewed, and redeemed.

Earning Loyalty Points

Retail customers earn loyalty points on eligible purchases made through our website.

  • You earn 1 loyalty point for every $1 spent
  • Points are earned on the total order value (excluding shipping)
  • You must be logged into your customer account to earn points
  • Points are added to your account after your order is completed

Viewing Your Loyalty Points

Loyalty points are not displayed directly inside your account order history.

To view your points balance:

  1. Log in to your customer account
  2. Go to the Shop section of the website
  3. Click the Rewards popup that appears at the bottom right hand side while browsing the site

The Rewards panel will show:

  • Your current points balance
  • Ways to earn
  • Ways to redeem.
  • Your activity

Redeeming Loyalty Points

Loyalty points are redeemed as discount codes, not as automatic cart credits.

  1. To redeem your points:
  2. Log in to your customer account
  3. Go to the Shop section of the website
  4. Click the Rewards pop-up at the bottom right hand of the screen while browsing
  5. Select Ways to redeem - View - Redeem
  6. A discount code will be generated for you to use at the checkout

Once redeemed:

  • The discount code can be applied at checkout
  • You may need to click “Apply code” at checkout
  • A confirmation email containing your discount code will also be sent to you

Please note: Loyalty rewards are not automatically applied to your cart. You must redeem your points first and apply the discount code at checkout.

Loyalty Reward Value

  • 20 loyalty points = $1 NZD
  • Loyalty points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Discount codes cannot be transferred or shared with other customers

Account Use & Eligibility

  • Loyalty points can only be earned and redeemed by the account holder and can't be redeemed for subscription purchases.
  • Discount codes are linked to the customer account that redeemed them
  • Points cannot be combined across multiple accounts
  • Wholesale customers are not eligable for our loyalty points programme

Points Expiry

  • Loyalty points do not expire
  • Points remain available as long as your account remains active

Programme Changes

We reserve the right to update or modify the Loyalty Rewards Programme at any time, including how points are earned or redeemed. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
